The Foundation Collective brings together Calgary's artists, creatives, and community members to celebrate, preserve, and advance urban art culture. Rooted in Calgary's underground scene of the late 1990s, we have been organizing events in Calgary for nearly a decade.

We produce graffiti jams, public murals, and themed collaborative works on businesses throughout the city year-round. In 2025 we hosted two major events: Ground Up, a graffiti jam and street festival produced in partnership with BUMP, and Bring the Heat in Greenview, a celebration of urban art, music, and community.

We believe graffiti belongs in public space. We work to break down the stigmas around urban art, connect generations of artists, and leave behind work that makes Calgary more vibrant, more human, and more alive.
